That is a little against the point concerning the other teams at least... I think you mean there are other options only if you choose adorables? The first turn is pretty much set in stone anyway. More ways of defending the rush don't justify the map being broken.
When he says escpecially if you choose Adorables, that means that there are lots of options for any team, but Adorables have even more options.
The problem is there aren't many ways to defend other rushes if you setup to defend the mobi rush.

I actually don't generally move the runner back from the wit space, but I see the point you are making. I'd still be interested in trying out a game to see if it really is a nearly a 100% loss if I guess incorrectly as necro implies.

I've not played Adorables long enough to be confident with the Reaper rush yet, I've been just opening normally so far so you'll have to test it with someone else sorry, was using the coinflip as an example. It wouldn't be %100 but if both players are of equal skill level then the positional or wit advantage should be massively in P1's favour, I've been playing Feedback and preparing myself for the rush yet whenever a player decides not to do it it becomes an uphill battle.

RE: Which Maps to Retire?
You should make maps that have a few random patterns and or single obstacles. Giving the first player 2 wits less on the first round would make sense. Making sure each player kicks off an even amount remains the most important.. The even percentage of map types played, in case a map favors the first player, will keep ranking system consistent. Rankings that use win percentage with games played both controlling the factor. We could vote on minimum number of games a season to be eligibly ranked so winning percentage is reflected and people that play 40 hours a week do not get ranked higher than a person with a bigger win ratio that finishes 7, 10, or x, games a week.

RE: Which Maps to Retire?
Have the devs ever considered making a deliberately not symetric map? It would require tons of beta testing, but I think an uneven battlefield would lead to great matchups that can't be found on a symmetric map, if designed well.

You think only Adorables use snipers on SFI?

RE: Which Maps to Retire?
That would actually be impossible. It would suck to be at a disadvantage in a matchup just because you spawned on the wrong side. What could possibly work is if your half of the map was determined by your race. At least, there is no randomness for what type of map you will get, but the interaction of two different sides of the map would definitely be interesting.

RE: Which Maps to Retire?
I don't think that mixing and matching of map patterns would be possible anyway, let alone a random map generator
