Which Maps to Retire?

RE: Which Maps to Retire?
It would be better if each player had the option of not playing in a specific map, that way every single user is happy.

RE: Which Maps to Retire?
That would basically just make it possible to choose maps in league play.

That's cute but if you read my post again you'll see I referenced your (a) clan. I didn't say it's indefensible but anyone who's being honest with themselves knows its broken. Foundry had a similar problem and while it also was defendable, it was broken and they fixed it.

I actually wasn't in the clan when the defense was discovered, and I wasn't defending iPro. I don't see what is so broken about it when the rush is easily defendable, if you think the map is broken for some other reason then show me.

RE: Which Maps to Retire?
The foundry rush was defendable too, but could kill you on turn 5 if you didn't have THE ONE specific response to whatever variation your opponent was going for. So I'm not sure "it's defendable" is strong enough a point.

The difference between the old foundry and reaper is, that if you execute the reaper defense properly, you don't end up with your base at 1 hp.

Is it broken? Maybe! But it certainly isn't as bad as foundry was.

We all know that Reaper is broken in terms of how the aftermath of the reaper defence turns out, it requires to move your wit space runner twice, meaning that against a player that doesn't perform the reaper rush you have 7 wits to start off with instead if the usual 8. This gives Adorables a significant advantage as P1 over all the other teams, and I've never opened with the reaper rush so far and have slaughtered all my opponents because they deliberately move to defend it.

I know have the urge to use a coin flip to decide which opening to use, giving me a 50% chance of guaranteeing myself victory.

There's more ways to defend the rush, especially if you're adorables

That is a little against the point concerning the other teams at least... I think you mean there are other options only if you choose adorables? The first turn is pretty much set in stone anyway. More ways of defending the rush don't justify the map being broken.

Your coin flip statement really says it all. Any map that you have to guess which strategy to use is broken.

When he says escpecially if you choose Adorables, that means that there are lots of options for any team, but Adorables have even more options.
