[Note: I'm not good at analyzing replays so what I've posted may be wrong.]
Your play is definitely runner spam, which I think it's not good with +1 wit/kill. Your opponent may decide to let his base get attacked for 1 or 2 and instead take a giant lead to your base, which you don't have enough unit composition. I recommend some soldiers along the way. Runner spam is pretty great when your opponent base has 1HP left.

I think this thread should be pinned. It goes down from time to time until someone dig it up.

Your base is at 1 hp and you attack your opponents base instead... If you spent most of your wit to defend your base, you would have come out with a significant lead and would have eventually won your game. You make some inefficient moves, like that runner you kept moving over and over again in the first 3 turns. Remember movement is expensive and runners are essentially worthless. So spending 4 wits on a runner is definitely not cost efficient. Again, the biggest error was not killing your opponent's attack force, before you considered other plays. By my calculations, if you just stole the wit space with your runner while killing your opponent's runner (a very efficient play I may add), then spent the remaining wit on killing your opponent, you would have had enough to come out ahead.

Turn 7 if you put your scrambler in the hex between the flowers and the hole you would have been setup for a sweet play on turn 9(which you are baiting with the 2hp runner in the middle) and your scrambler would not be in danger.

Neat game though.

Hi, I'm Kemkyrk and I'm in the gifted league. I just bought the über pack and I find the Veggienauts team really attractive, so I think I'm going to use this one most of the time.

Here's the replay of the first game I played with the Veggienauts. Can some experienced player tell me what was good, bad, or what could be improve ?

Here's the replay link: outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YsKn6Agw

Thank you to take time to answer to me (and sorry for my possible bad English)

you did pretty well. The only comment I have is that you spawned a lot of thorns where the parent thorn was easy to kill, but you could have easily spawned them from other thorns that were harder to kill.

...also I totally understand wanting to have some fun with your extra wits before you end the game, but to your opponent, you're just rubbing salt in the wound. Just attack his base and be done with it, you don't have to play with your food before you eat it so to speak

Thank you for your advice, I'll try to follow it for the next games...
And for the end, I agree with you, I usually don't do that but it was my first game with the veggienauts so I wanted to have some fun with them at the end.

Losing the sniper right away makes it very difficult to defend your wit side, you definitely should've protected your sniper with the soldier you spawned turn 3.

Turn 5 I didn't understand the runner moving next to my heavy, if it was for scouting only you shouldn't have put it right next to my heavy. you basically threw away 3 wits by doing that (spawn, move, attack) and I just killed it for free with the heavy.

Turn 9 you never want to attack into my spawn space like that. generally you don't want soldiers within 4 hexes of your opponents spawn since they can easily be killed with a sniper.

like I said feel free to challenge me again anytime!
