Group A: Evenly divisible by 101.
Group B: Not evenly divisible by 101.

???

I guess it works that way xD. That's interesting:
It's the same as saying that, changing the numbers from binary, they would be divisible by 5.

Yeah, I actually meant it in binary, though by coincidence it's true in this case in decimal as well. Every number in Group A treated as decimal is divisible by decimal 101. And every number in Group B (as decimal) is not divisible by decimal 101.

This isn't always true:

Binary 1100011 = decimal 99

Binary 1100011 (dec 99) is divisible by binary 1001 (dec 9).

But dec 1100011 isn't divisible by dec 1001. Exclamation

So was that the answer you had in mind, or is there some other solution to this?

If you solve it, am I doing it right?

EDIT: I changed "ant" to "owl"

Group A is Chemoeum's six favorite animals.
Group B is Chemoeum's six least favorite animals.

Seriously, I can't figure this one out.

Nope, but what you must do is think numerically, as you trip through many evens and odds.

RE: Bongard Problems
I still don't see anything.

I tried replacing the letters in each word with numbers by going A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, but this didn't produce anything that jumped right out at me. Adding up the numbers in each word didn't yield anything useful (lion, snake, and owl all add up to 50). Both lion and boar have the same pattern of even and odd letters (even, odd, odd, even). Keeping a running total of the differences between letters didn't give me anything interesting (i.e. bat is 2, 1, 20, so -1 + 19 = 18, etc.).

Group B has at least as many evens as odds, too.
