The nature of the game doesnt really lend itself to sitting down and playing turn after turn for hours on end. Its more of a: "im gonna play a turn in every game i have going every day or two." I personally never have more than 5 games running, but i could have 20 if i wanted.

i thought it was a three day limit but my queues just ticked over to four days...

6 x four days

10 x three days

2 x two days

4 x one day.

rest of queue is useable and active but im essentially blocked with 16 slots...

Wow I can understand your "anger", that never happenned to me but damn, you aren't lucky! Trust me that kind of situation must be very rare :o
Except for the "one day", it's exteemely common in this game But 10 games on three days, that's impressive.

not angry now, the rest of the list is rotating and active. Clever league is more active for sure and ive played several games vs genius leaguers who seem regular too.

But...

If this is the common experience for fresh new users NOW (no longer a new release) , then potential buyers are being turned away and will most likely delete the free install before their games finish.

Yes, that is a problem. Most new users want to play all the time, but aren't really good at the game. With this, they'll probably end up as fluffies, who don't play very often. Higher up is fine.
