Assuming Coolio and Lazerdonut are okay with being a team, and TheGoldenGriffin is okay with teaming up with jbadams1, we have eight teams already, once Elle finds a partner.

Yes, I don't want Bramble's behavior to change mid-tournament. Also, we'll be able to use the new maps, assuming they are available to both players in a matchup. What's the point of spawning several bramble? One is enough, and disadvantages you enough, wit speaking. I don't think it's possible to win having several bramble, in 1v1 as in 2v2.
The point is that you gain extra points for wasting your wits on additional Brambles. It is a silly tournament, because I am silly. It's just for fun.

Yeah, don't worry about it. I've got it all under control!
Just remember: You get extra points for spawning Brambles, up to five of them in 1v1 and up to four in 2v2. Scrambling Thorns and Brambles in 2v2 also gains you extra points. That's about it, really.
