Since when are you not a 2v2 player? Wink

Our clan doesn't have a fixed 2v2 pairing as well so far but still i think it would be a nice addition. I just wonder how 2v2 can be combined with the one kills all mechanic.

hahaha. i suck at 2v2. my partner knows about all the mistakes i make in games.
well, too bad my partner joined a different clan before i could send an invite. Tongue

Smile we can stay a team 2v2 on a different agenda, though...

How come there aren't any more clans doing this? It sounds awesome! Ice Blood Bullet Proof would like to participate.
I just wanna get this right to open signups for my clan: there are 8 unchangeable places per clan (5 in the lineup, 2 for a 2v2 match, and 1 extra in case you win the 2v2), right?

I thinks it's changeable as match progresses, I thought there was 1 2v2

There's one 2v2, but that requires 2 players, so daHsu is correct, although you may change seats during the match.

A few details are missing: p1/p2, maps, how many games are in each player pairing, and any team restrictions.

I'm concerned about the length of this tournament based on the number of serial games. Each clan match will have 5-10 individual matches. With 4 rounds, that is 20-40 individual 1v1 matches. All serial! This will probably take 1-2 years!!

Instead, I'd like to suggest a swiss tournament instead. Each round has parallel individual matches. Winning individual stays to the next round and losing clan puts a new player in their spot for the next round. Each win gives 1 point to the clan. 1st plays 2nd, 3rd plays 4th, etc. Seeding could use the sum of the top 200 ranks of the best N members of the clan. Use the rank of the last appearance on the list or 201 if never appeared. I'm not sure how 2v2 could be incorporated.

Also, to encourage more lower-league players, maybe a higher league or rank would take more slots.

A Swiss with 4 teams? Then a Round-Robin seems better to me. With that, we can set a date limit to finish all matches, which seems to work swell in the b-ball tourney.

P1/P2 will alternate per game, and maps will be chosen every 3 games by the P2 for that game, with no repetitive choices:

Say, Team A and B meet eachother. Team A will get P1 in the first game, so team B can choose a map for games 1-3, say, Glitch. So, they play three games on Glitch, with a team B member as P1 in the second game. So, in the fourth game, Team A will get P2, and may choose another map for games 4-6 (not Glitch) etc.

Yeah, round robin might better with only 4 clans. I was thinking Swiss so that the current top clan would be always pitted against the 2nd ranked clan to make it more possible to be dethroned. But, with only 4 it might be nice to have each clan facing each other even though some matches might be David vs Goliath.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't David kick Goliath's ass? Not sure if you meant that Angel
