It wasn't me stickying this thread but there are unfortunately a whole bunch of tournaments that one could consider important. It is quite subjective and hard to tell the difference, though.
Unfortunately the stuck threads do account to the 20 threads per page rule, so there's less space for non-sticky threads. While I do sympathize with the 2v2 tournament thread's situation, the question is, whose displeasure is gonna be incurred next, did I stick the 2v2 tournament thread to the top as well.
That being said, I am not under the impression that this very thread calls for being a sticky, though, as it mostly affects ten users or so (tourney leader + the clan leaders + maybe the current players). I'm not sure if there should be any rules towards which thread should be stickied and which shouldn't.

@GG well, yeah. This really becomes a problem. I am gonna be a bit strict from now on, because this is just getting ridiculous. But the worst thing REALLY is, that people just seem to copy excisting tourneys now. Just have a look at some of the newer ones, and tell me what you think.

We're trying to get our next player. Bad Herr day and Pohks are kind of hard to reach. So the next player might be me if this keeps stalling.

The main reason I think this deserved to be stickies is to promote clans which will be good for outwitters in the long run (and this is the only clan tournament). In general though I agree we should not sticky tournaments. I think just one major 1v1 and one clan tournament is good. I still think there should be a separate subforum for clans since having the clan list stickied here is kind of odd.

I must say I'm a bit confused as well as tournaments are only a minor part of clans. With the exception of S.E.A.L which is gradually gaining more members as it booted up again more recently I doubt that the others would particularly want many more applicants.
