Don't knoe if this makes you feel better but I also lost against bckace this morning on a new map in a way that left me feeling very stupid.

Veggienauts v. Veggienauts on Reaper (if I remember the names correctly... maybe it's the other one?) - I didn't use Bramble here, but my opponent did. Take note of turns 20 and 21 here. Careful placement of Bramble's thorns--both their positions and the order you place them--is really important to prevent your enemy from trampling over them. Also, this seems like an attack that probably wouldn't have worked as well if not for the +1 wit/kill bonus.

I think if Goheat would've hit one of my parent strands near his base he could've defended better.
