Special Unit Brainstorm Ideas
Random ideas:

Idea 1:
• What if the Medic has a self-destruct feature. You can blow-up your own Medic and it will damage surrounding spaces by -1.

Idea 2:
• What if the Special Unit plants land mines that can be blown-up at your request.
• Only Heavy's can detect line mines (from the opposing team)

Idea 3:
• What if the special unit player can walk through walls? Those bushes in the middle of the board?

Idea 4:
• What if the special unit can make hologram/mirages of players 2 spaces away. So you fire at them but nothing happens.

Idea 5:
• What if the special unit can transform into a Bonus Space or a Spawn space.

Idea 6:
• What if the special unit has radar. It can see through the fog of war - detect a player but you dont know what type of player it is...just that something is there. Radar activation can cost 3 wit points. Or something that makes it difficult to use often.

Idea 7:
• What if the special unit has the ability to upgrade your players: Warriors become Heavys. Or Runners become Warriors.

Idea 8:
• What if the special unit has a force field that pushes opponent characters back one space as you move close to them.

Idea 9:
• What if a special unit can take over the opponents Spawn space for one turn?

Idea 10:
• What if the special unit can repair your base? Use it once and it dies but your base gets a boost in health?

RE: Special Unit Brainstorm Ideas
I was thinking it would be cool to have a unit like the Wraith from Hero Academy that gains Strength and health with each kill. Anothe idea would be a mind control unit that could take control of a friendly for 1 action, either an attack or movement.
