sorry. it should have been if there was a criteria, how would it work?
okay.

RE: Tournament for lower leagues
You could base it on the ratio of points to wins. Ideally this would be just 1v1, but if not the sum of points to the sum of wins may be ok. Find someone with about the max win rate you want to allow and use their ratio as the max.

Whilst you can't get a particular criteria, generally players on the forum tend to be honest and diligent. If they join without understanding or reading up on what it's about, it's their fault and can be kicked.

I'm currently taking a competative break. Am up for friendlies and tournaments!

Yes I agree with that - it's a good approximation of skill and worked well for the World Cup.

RE: Tournament for lower leagues
I was actually just thinking this the other day. I'm in Clever but regularly play against Gifteds. I've beat some top 10 Gifteds, is that all right?

Demonwind66

Clever 17, 74 wins (a lot are 2v2 though), 586 1v1 pts.

If I do well I'll play the next full tournament (and most likely get stomped).

1v1, 2v2 w/baustin42, w/spacechef Gifted League
2v2 random, w/ Extreme Ghost, w/ izzilla Master League
