Things I would love in a future OML TBS game:
  • Synchronous play
  • Ruleset designed to make long turtle-fests impossible (i.e. the rules guarantee that matches will end within a certain number of turns)
  • If the above proves too elusive, then a draw button
  • Randomly generated maps (possibly as a mere option)
  • Built in alternate game modes

Real Time Outwitters 2
Games are played in real time. Game speed is controlled by the rate at which wits are generated, and that rate would be a parameter of the game setup. For example, 2 wits/minute would be a slow, thinking game. 20 wits/minute would be pretty fast.
