I don't know it is system design or a system bug

Dr. Ghost 35 (P1) and J1flash (P3) are 2v2 Arranged master players
[<Mars>] (P2) and Gamer1357924680 (P4) are ST and gifted random players.

Scenario 
P1 joint the game
P2 joint the game 
P3 joint the game ~1.5 days later
P4 joint the game in few hours later

My question is: did the matching system count the total time for pairing? When it reached 1.5-2.0 days, it started to give them *something* to play. If this is the case, P3 can do something really hurt the matching system.

There was only 94 2v2 league matches completed during last 24 hours.

I manually counted OSN data.
Player pool is shrinking gradually, there are less matches completed than before. Meaning less matches are launched daily, we are below hundred a day now.

Adam's statement 'rather have a match regardless skill matchup' will soon be rendered obsolete...
since there is not big enough pool to pick ranked match ups! All matches will be assigned by 'anything goes'.
And separating random from arranged would make much more sense:
1) Those arranged teams know 102 hour turn time limit and are custom to matches extending several months and lasting over hundred turns. They can wait to be matched against a meaningful opponent.
2) Random player on the other hand can be a newbie with a tolerance of a toddler and random would be farer if it were random, not this pseudo random mess at is now

In my opinion, I prefer a skill matchup rather than a match. I played my friendly and accept games for all level of players, but skill matchup is definitely the most important in the real fight.
