Yes, some players do spam the special attacks, but I would not recommend this tactic.

So, trying to get this more on topic. Does anybody else play toon link in brawl? I'm a beast with him, and I also enjoy playing as ROB, Wolf, and Snake. Omg I love me some snake, so many bombs. Once my friends and I played a 4 player snake only match. So many explosions.

Toon link is great. I don't care much for any of the others you named, excluding wolf. Kirby, zelda, lucas, and marth are my guys!
