Sometimes I receive, sometimes I don't?
I am diligent enough to go check every 10 seconds so I really didn't require use of that feature that much....

Update that I never said: I started receiving notifications after I deleted and reinstalled the application.

Bumping this thread since my notifications stopped working a few days ago. It was around the time that the forums seemed to have issues too.
