A Modest Feature Request - In-game Notes to Self?

Brick A Modest Feature Request - In-game Notes to Self?
Greetings playmates,

I am newly attracted to the forum by the question of game timeouts. I have duly cast my poll, but the exercise made me ponder broader ideas of how our experience might evolve.

One idea I think I would love - an action button that appears upon ending a move with an optional "note" interaction. Upon click, I get a post-it note type screen to record my thoughts about strategy & my next move for this board & opponent.

As a casual player who wannabees serious, I often get pulled away from new matches I am excited about. I always have ideas when ending a move, but don't always have a good place to keep them that will seamlessly show up with my next turn. I suspect such functionality would also lend itself to all sorts of unexpected but useful behavior as well.

Thanks for considering the idea! And on my first post, thanks to all you players out there. Outwitters has carried me through some rough attention patches, and I am grateful for all your brains.

Zack

This is a pretty nice idea. I've often forgotten my plan at the start of a new turn.

I agree, perhaps a button on the bottom that allows you I take notes during a replay too.

YESYESYESYESYES.
Me on turn x: YES i have a winning strategy. Oh yeah! *Send turn*
Me on turn x+2: *move* OH ***** I HAD A WINNING STRATEGY

Even though I usually win on turn x+4, it's still annoying

It should be implemented along with chat: a "to self" chat

RIP, these forums

I like this idea because it'll be easy to implement. Just add the "to partner" option of 2vs2 to 1vs1 and change the name.

I do love the idea of "sticky notes" though because you could place them in places where you want units to go or on units you want to do something to or with. Like a note on an empty space that says "soldier here" or a note on a soldier that says "snipe this"
