RE: Weekly Top 200 - 8/2/2013
Some ST's rather have a top master level, but won a lot of battle against other top master and a few ST, then got to St and aren't able to hold a positive ratio when they climb. So, they fall to 60th/70th, but not enough so that the game considers they should be master again. There is also a bunch of inactive ST, that's why I think there are more or less only 50 real ST's ^^ You're gonna be promoted soon, at top 40 you should be in.

Edit: forgot we were talking about top 200 and that inactive are kicked after a long time, so my statement is not so true Smile But as for the leaderboards, there is by no mean 100 ST

There are 101 in Angry Moccasin and 6 in Round Bow, so there are 107 total STs (that have played at least one league game in season 3)

Nah, I meant, there are no 100 real ST in my opinion, with a big part of them being inactive, and some simply not having the ST level Tongue

Well, it depends on what it means to be ST. ST is just a league where you get promoted if you have a certain win percentage, as such it's dependent on your relative skill level compared to the whole population of players. But, the skill level of the population has been growing since the start of the game too, so a Master today might be at about the same absolute skill level as a ST 7 months ago. Food for thought.

It'll be GG when you're up against GG of GG.

To my mind, a ST has to really differenciate himself from masters by his decision making and wit efficiency. I don't say a top 70 ST must play perfectly obviously, but I sometimes don't see the difference between master and ST when I watch some replays, with a huge amount of errors and misunderstandings. It seems to me ST league is becoming more mainstream than before, but that's certainly only my opinion Smile
What is relevant though is the number of inactive super titans which is really impressive, it seems 40%-50% of the ST's are.

Well not everyone can just get that much better when they get to ST.
"I just got promoted to ST. I suddenly got way better than before".
In my experience I gradually got the hang of things and got used to the higher level of playing slowly.

When you go to ST, that means you crush almost all masters, and low ST's are not a real problem for you. Obviously, this can't happen in one day, you suddendly being awesome and so on. But what I mean is that SOME of the lowest ST's don't represent the titan level to me, when I watch them play, and I don't understand what is the difference between them and some masters I know who are barely in the top 200. Again, that's my feeling, maybe because I expect too much from this league. Maybe I also see their worst replays, dunno ^^'

Just because the lower part of ST doesnt reach your standard of skill doesnt mean theyre not STs.
and I'm not defending this because I'm most probably in your list of "SOME" xD
but try to look at it this way. Players climb up, not teleport up. Some climb fast, some climb slow.

I didn't say "they are not ST", but "to my mind they don't look like titans" Tongue

I think that's the amount of moves done that are, again, in my opinion, huge errors which makes me say so, sometimes when I watch replays I'm like "seriously?" x)

I never saw you playing lately, so I can't say aha! But I'm looking forward to it Smile
