If that were to happen, then the Outwitters servers would be flooded with unplayed friendly games. This would crowd out active friendly games and league games as there would be less space for these games to occur due to your "saved game"

And the fun thing about friendly games, there is not penalty when you lose. Just start over and have even more fun.
