Scenario- I know I won the game, I'm now spawning 4 extra brambles during garbage time (fantasy football reference). This is even easier to do with veggienauts because you can spam thorns which makes it difficult for the enemy to mount a comeback.

Now I'm pondering whether there might be a way to counteract this. What if points for spawning Brambles were only awarded if you spawned a minimum number of thorns with that Bramble, say three? Would people really stall and spend forty wits just to spawn four extra Brambles and spawn three thorns from each one?

Or maybe I could do something nutty like only count for extra points the Brambles spawned prior to the final 25% of the game's moves or the final 10 moves, whichever is less.
