yes i would steer the plane away.
the two cases are a bit different cause in the first one its like youre forcing someone
else to make the sacrifice for.. oh wait its the same.. damn you rick. haha

well anyway on your case i really would choose to steer the plane away.
atleast on your example i wouldnt have to live with the guilt of having to choose who gets to live or die.

so i would prefer to have less people die if im to die anyway
