The interesting thing about talking about difficult situations is that you always have time to think about it and what you will do. But I am sure each person would act much differently if actually put in that situation and had to make a split-second decision.

You will find that your decisions will be quite rash. Kind of like a n00b in Outwitters. lol

That's why fire drills are pointless. Once or twice is enough.

RE: Interesting philosophical question :)
I disagree. I think regular fire drills are a good idea. My evidence: Kindergarten Cop

RE: Interesting philosophical question :)
Yes. Fire drills are good. In my middle school, they did fire drills often before the weather got cold and once, the fire bell rang and my whole cheered and some jumped our of their seats and the teacher had the WTF face on. Fire drills are good because we get to spend 10 minutes of the period going outside. We're not idiots. We know its a drill. Unless we smell smoke or the announcements say it isn't a drill, the fire bell doesn't tell us its a fire, it tells us that we can relax for a few minutes.

Which is why its bad for the school's side. The drills take up class time and the we love it.

RE: Interesting philosophical question :)
Classic question:

You are stranded on a island. You can have any three things to survive. It is in the Desolate Region in the South pacific, so you have no hope of rescue or escape. What do you take?

I just want to hear different people's answers. And you can't say, for example, 4000 cans of coke, as thats already more than one thing. I would take: A box of matches, A very durable axe and a very, very large piece of fabric (for clothing, a bed and I can take the strings from it to use as well)

RE: Interesting philosophical question :)
Probably a DVD, a bag of popcorn, and a helicopter to fly home with (the DVD and popcorn are for when I arrive and I'm ready to watch movies).
