You will have a few days to create/respond to games - don't worry about it. And have fun on the tenth Smile

I'm fine with the 10th, but I'm fine with pretty much any day as I will be equally busy on all days for the next fifty years or so.

Any further news about what maps we'll play on? Long Nine does seem like a sensible choice, but wouldn't Foundry, Thorn Gulley, and Sweetie Plains also possibly work as well?

I hate Foundry, though. I'd much rather play on Long Nine. Big Grin

I'm going to stick with the "p1 is allowed to choose the map" out of Foundry, Long Nine, Thorn Gully and Sweetie Plains. I recommend Long Nine due to the closeness of the bases, but variaty is always nice.

Foundry appears to be universally hated, so you won't have to worry too much about someone picking it - and at least you won't have to worry about the runner rush Smile

Is this a "spawn only runners" game?

RE: [Full] Micro strategic starting unit tournament - starting 10 January
The micro strategic starting unit league starts tomorrow!

Remember:
  1. Do not build any units.
  2. Remind your opponent that they are not allowed to build units
  3. Start a game with every other player on the list (tomorrow!). This will be a total of 10 games each. If you feel that this is too many of these games to be playing at once, wait before you send out your invites. Try to have at least 1/2 of these games running at all times so the tournament doesn't take forever. I'll be starting all my games tomorrow.
  4. P1 gets to choose the map from Long Nine, Thorn Gulley, Sweetie Plains and Foundry. Long Nine is recommended, but if you are feeling adventurous feel free to pick one of the others.
  5. Post your results in the format:
    P1: Player 1
    P2: Player 2
    Winner: winner
    (Replay link)
You can get a replay link by holding down the finished game, then selecting copy.
  6. Have fun! Try not to turtle for too long - your opponent might just sneak behind your defenses
