Maybe consider this a request for advanced tips.
I first placed in gifted, quickly moved into master, but cannot advance past #5-10 in my master league for the last hundred or so wins. I study my replays and forum replays, including supertitan matches. Few issues I see with my game: Still cannot master a map or two (I usually dominate small maps but can struggle with wide open maps). Still play mostly round by round versus seeing many moves ahead with a long-term strategy. Probably too defensive versus smartly hard charging. Any tips on breaking through? Any advanced techniques that I must learn? |

Can you post a replay of yours where you thought, "I just don't know where I went wrong?"
(How the hell do I punctuate that sentence? I want an exclamation point for the quotation, but the whole thing needs a question mark. "Wrong!"? is wrong. "Wrong?!" doesn't seem right. I think the way I did it is the only way.) |
