Oh Cool! Love that game! Enjoyed their GDC talk as well. Was awesome to see them do well in IGF. Who's your friend? Matthew Davis or Justin Ma?

Neptune's Pride

hilariously awesome game, just couldn't get a group to play consistently.
They made a sequel as well.

Oops. I'm playing the sequel also. Tongue

Wow... I had no idea someone took the idea of this game to space. I can imagine it is hard to find people who stay committed to a game which lasts weeks. I remember it wasnt easy to find friends who would play the board game for those 4-5 hours it needs to be finished. However any time we played it it was great fun and we needed at least the same amount of time to discuss the game afterwards...

I would like to know if anyone plays skulls of the shogun as well. If so, how is it? I've been thinking of getting it since my 2v2 outwitter partner and I retired.

Oh wow. I played Neptunes Pride for a few weeks back in September. It was fun but playing with random people was kind of lame. It got to the point when there were 4 of us left and we had alliances so it was 2v2. I was the strongest player but then my ally was called back early from his military leave so it became a 2v1 and I just couldn't compete... 2 weeks of gameplay down the drain. But I can definitely see the game being fun with a group of friends you know won't just disappear on you.

Who is playing hearthstone here? I got a beta key two days ago, and I'm loving it! The only flaw I see is that, players who play for more time will have more chances to win, because they will have better cards. It's kinda pay-to-win game, but it's not that problematic ^^
