League Promotion

I think it's currently too difficult to retain your new league if you've recently been promoted. I recently experienced the following sequence:

Started somewhere in gifted
Won six games in a row
Promoted to master
Won a game
Lost a game
Won three more games
Demoted to gifted again

So winning ten of eleven games and four of five after becoming a master wasnt enough to retain the promotion. While I understand i will always be matched against similar skill players, I believe it lessens the value of dividing players into leagues if you have to play perfectly (or horribly, I assume it goes the other way) for such an extended period of time to change your league.
