RE: Merit to fast 2v2 arranged teams
With Trahogektor / gektotraher it is possible to have blitz even on league match!
Same goes with paco bru / 4munt, but 2v2 blitz does not really exist as it does 1v1.
At fastest those teams can make a turn in less than 5 minutes, resulting that your turn returns under 15 minutes. With those blitz teams 2v2 can advantage four rounds in an hour - that is 16 turns. And I have witnessed couple of turns faster pace with these teams, too. But all 4 of us cannot play all day long, so there will be a pause, to sleep at least.
But these two teams do make moves several times a day - meriting being a fast 2v2 arranged team.
And by playing blitz occasionally they raise the bar for all other teams what fast paced 2v2 can be.

I don't feel this should be an award. 2v2 requires in immense amount of coordination and strategy with your partner. Playing fast (under 5) means you're not accounting for everything available and not taking into account your partners ideas and how you can fulfill not only your own but also theirs.
Anyways, just my 2 cents, I know me and Banger moved every 2.5-3 days

I can see the merit for both arguments. The only 'bad' practice is when someone is purposely stringing out every turn, even when it's a 'standard' or 'nothing special' turn.

i think a full cycle of turns in 1 day is a pretty decent pace.

2v2 blitz is pointless, since it is slow even if all players do moves immediately and do not chat or plan together.
But those two teams I mentioned are fascinatingly fast taking their turns. They do win, too.
Here is some Acrospire matches that were completed in a week, last three simultaneously:

I like chat and play slow, some of my teammates are faster, some slower than me.
Pace was probably too fast to us, since those simultaneous blitz 2v2 all ended to our lost! But opponent had FTA on every single match, so 3-1 is not that bad, isn't it?

anyway not a big fan of those who make hasty turns. usually does not end well (not a good game. 1 sided or lots of easily avoidable mistakes).
but if i had to make a vote it would be acameronp and his partner

i agree but the max for us on normal turns would be 2 days. sometimes reaching 3 for crucial turns

though quick turns isnt neccesarily bad.. as long as it doesnt affect your skill.
i think the ninja bros would have been easily higher in rank if they decreased their games and took more time in making their turns.

RE: Merit to fast 2v2 arranged teams
Acameronp has astonishing speed with skill that slows down the opponent! Ninja brothers have dropped out of top 100 ranking, maybe because of their speed.
9. Trahogektor & gektotraher
16. paco bru & 4munt
on the other hand had climbed to top 10 and top 20.
Both teams having around 600 league points at the end of season 3 (source OSN).
