Luck or League Misplacement? - Ser Purple Wolf - 11-06-2012 10:50 AM

I have read that Foundry has a major FTA advantage. Although, the past two games and the current one I am playing [I will win it for sure] have all been won as me playing as P2.

So my question is, is this pure luck? Or am I in the wrong league?

He tried to turtle. Didn't work out so well.

My other foundry match is posted in "I <3 my mobi" [Adorables vs Adorables]

My other match that I'm playing right now is against ddextermd. He knocked me down to one health, but I recovered and control 3 wit spaces and one of his spawns. :/

He didn't pressure you and he didn't use FTA to his advanatge, in super titan league a p2 foundry win is a rare thing
Tip don't move the healer to the sniper it's a guarenteed loss

If he used FTA, you may lose your sniper or medic, or both of them in worst case.

I originally thought FTA meant they had a greater advantage overall, not just in the beginning. :/

FTA does *have* and effect throughout the game. However, as the turns go on, it continually approaches being balanced, as the effects often aren't too obvious in later stages of gameplay. That being said, FTA does have an effect on the whole game, but is generally referred to in the earlier stages.

The key to foundry is that you will lose your sniper as P2 for sure. But as P1, you can save it by moving the sniper towards the medic on the first turn.

The sniper is very useful.

Also there is another rush threat, but most people know about that one.

I ignore both snipers, always win as P1, and think the map is completely broken. Send me a PM if you want me to challenge! I think it takes around 9 turns on average...

Perhaps we should call NathanDetr0it for a full analysis on Foundry Tongue
