Hello everyone. With CodePenguin's recent major update to the Outwitters Sports Network, it's time for change. Replays can now be uploaded directly to a database without the need for a middleman (I've been replaced by a machine! Robots will take over the world, mark my word!).

As such, I've discussed this with CodePenguin and we agree that it makes sense to convert this into a discussion thread for high level replays. We've already had some of this with conversation on pokhs' replays and Foundry FTA, mobi reaper rush, and Bramble usefulness (uselessness). Now this thread is dedicated solely to Super-Titan level discussion. The old Super-Titan Replay thread can still be found here.

If you wish to discuss lower level games there is always the Share Your Replays thread.

Thanks combatex and codepenguin!

Here's a foundry game I just added, I don't know how great of a replay it's but it shows how the +1wit/kill can be utilized for massive exchanges!

Wow, turn 11 poweewee could have done 3 base damage with 3 runners and a mobi, that's an interesting concept...

Don't you like to take on challenges and use a poor useless special? Smile

I have taken! And I lost all my games where I spawn that poor useless plant! Wink

I only used bramble in friendlies before with little success.

This game to me highlights the weakness of veggie. I just watch him place his vines and dont really care, he over expands down the bottom and i kill his main vine then wipe out his army. With the wit advantage from that move I am able to take a huge map position and take a really fast victory. I think if i played veggie I would just not make the super and hope to win through aggression with the standard units Confused

I've played alanthefast before and I know he's a good player, so I have to think he was just still experimenting and learning how to use the bramble in competitive matches. He made a pretty big oopsie making that long chain to your spawn with a 1hp root thorn that he knew was in range of your bombshell.

Not that I'm overly defending bramble balance, mind you. I think it's pretty impossible to use well against a bombshell or a scrambler.

This was a bit of a learning game for me.

Wowowow ! Your bombshell made a jackpot on turn 50 Big Grin
Well played

1wit/kill is supposed favored the attack, really ?

Here a game vs mastercaster on Reaper, a fatal mistake on turn 18

RE: Super-Titan Replay Discussion - Emuchu - 12-19-2012 07:47 AM

Here's a very curious match I just played against alanthefast.

Sweetie Plains, 37 Turns: alanthefast (F) v. Emuchu (A)

The first 18 turns is nothing but buildup, with massive attacks from both sides starting Turn 19. What's so interesting about this match? Not a single Special gets spawned the entire game. Alan has FTA, so I'm expecting to see a Scrambler or two and I go about assembling a double Soldier wall. But the Scrambler never comes. I believe Alan attacks under the assumption that I've spawned a Mobi and that he has a unit advantage, since my troops are compacted about the center, but the Mobi never shows up, either.

I haven't played a League game without my Mobi since I was in Clever! It's strange getting by without the guy.
