I haven't overstepped the max 5 games per race, but I've started a P1 game, my opponent has not moved yet, and I'd prefer to change my race selection. Is that a 0.5 point reduction or is that only for playing more than 5 games for a race?

In this case you may resign and change your race selection without suffering a 0.5 penalty. The penalty is imposed only when the 5 game limit is exceeded. As a courtesy to your opponent, please send him a notification.
