- they did not.
First round matches are now listed, but it seems random to me.
If ranking is like this (ranking published just before tournament sign in was closed):

Teams placed at 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th are on the same side of the bracket. Giving "somewhat" advantage to 2nd placed team.
Also teams ranked 5th and 6th play against each other on first round.
I have been complaining "newbie" organizer about writing ALL rules before tournament starts.
Now I complain that dear organizer cannot follow his/her own guidelines published.
And not "all" about rules are revealed - therefore still I complain ;-)

Not too late ask help.
Please write the rules and fix the errors you've made. No harm done to restart all matches: by the rules!
Seeding really does not matter to me. You have to win them all. It just bugs me that if you organize something, write rules etc. then organizer and everyone else should follow the rules. Tournaments have rules - not anarchy.

Seriously, I don't think it matters much; just enjoy the games. If it really bothers you, then perhaps when I have time and there are fewer tourneys I might put one together with proper seeding, detailed rules, etc.

Having a tourney that doesn't follow stated rules is a major problem. I personally think it does matter as it gives an advantage to a team that shouldn't recieve the advantage.

If Dabestbro cannot follow rules written by himself, that is something I cannot tolerate. This tournament did not publish all aspects beforehand, still some bits missing, by the way. But not following rules that we published by organizer - not acceptable.
Being first tournament Dabestbro is setting up, initial rule set can be lacking. But then forum members offer help and type out clear mistakes and lack of information (essential to participants) - all things organizer needs to fix before starting the tournament!
Outwitters forum tournaments do follow rules and are played with good manners.
I am not trying to offend organizer, just pointing out that organizers performance has not been up to Outwitters community standards. And with the help from forum members, errors can be fixed. No harm done.
I hope I was polite. Best solution is to restart the tournament by the rules. Bad solution is to re-write the rules (matchmaking randomly, FTA and map selection rights given randomly).
