The rules say you have to be ranked in 2v2.

Single match 32 team straight cup?
Nothing about who plays first nor on what map?
There is not enough info to even consider to attend this tournament.

Please study Two mans left tournament data
http://www.onemanleft.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=1341&pid=22632#pid22632
and rules and game rule changes etc.
Please note that some of the matches lasted more than 3 months.

I am eager to attend 2v2 tournament - it just has to be planned properly. Two mans left tournament is excellent, long, but top notch from start to today. I have attended one another tournament, with altered game rules, it was not pleasant since poorly written rules needed to be adjusted before and even during tournament.

I believe seedings, maps, and whatnot are to be revealed after sign ups have been completed.

Hey, I actually liked that tournament! It didn't seem that bad as far as the rule changes were concerned. And the game mode was great.

Mindful massacare tournament has a nice twist, I attended because idea strike to me as a good one. And rules do work, now. With alternate rule tournaments - things are not easy to set up. Before tournament begins, adjustment are often needed, attendees reveal something organizer has not thought out. But rule change during tournament - needs heavy arguments to back it up.

Now than there is more details about this tournament - it seem that it is not for me.
Single match on old maps with FTA handed to lower ranked team, no thank you.

Seed 1 playing seed 2 makes no sense whatsoever, along with FTA being given to lower seed. Also I don't like not having gen 2 maps either. And 1 game match is not very fair either if it's lose and you're out.

Thanks for the feedback, will adjust

I think this has to be run as a book single elimination tournament. Because if seed 1 plays seed 2 round 1. Most likely you will have the final be a 17 seed vs. a 1 seed. That doesn't make sense so it should be adjusted to where 1 plays 32 and then he plays winner of 16/17.
