Wouldn't this work?
* spawn scrambler and scramble runner from D4 (8)
* scrambled runner to F5 and kill runner at G5 (1)
* heavy -> E4 (1)
This almost mirrors our scrambler protection. I think we'd be about neutral in this case.
I now have a little more leaning toward option 1, but I'm fine with option 2 (with runner on E4) as well.

The reason I prefer option 2 because it is creative, option 1 is passive. I hope they will come and kill our scrambler. If not, we will convert the converted runner and use it to kill the scrambler. The game should be even. Of course they will kill our scrambler. I think there has higher chance to kill our scrambler next turn as that was the reason they moved the runner on F2.

You've convinced me! Let's do it! I agree that they will more likely go after our scrambler. Scrambling their runner to kill their scrambler seems like a good response if they don't.

Hold on! If we choose option 2 , we must move the converted runner to E3 instead of E4 to kill the medic. If the runner is on E4, they can convert it and use it to kill our scrambler directly, am I right?
If we move the runner to E3, they can converted it, then move the soldier and heavy to cover their scramber.
I am sorry. I would like to switch my vote to option 1. I prefer to kill all their unit except heavy.

Good catch! We must kill the medic from E3 if we choose option 2. I'm still OK with this option, though. If they scramble, I think we'll have a slight advantage with wits because of the excessive movement of their heavy and soldier. This seems like the only move where they come close to staying on par with us. I think they will attack our scrambler.
Option 1 or option 2 (E3) are fine for me.

Even with that case for E3, I think we are still advantaged slightly due to inefficient unit movement. It seems like any other play they make, we'll have an even larger advantage.
Option 1 is clearly safer where I think we have a reasonable advantage no matter what. Option 2 ranges from a very big advantage if they attack our scrambler to a slight advantage if they convert the runner back that we just scrambled.
