This situation is ridiculous. Whatever happened, Jamay is not the kind of person to put on an ignore list. She's an active member and a nice one. You're a tournament organizer, how can she will be able to participate to your tourneys if she can't contact you for any reason... I speak French, without taking a party here, what I know is that there was no reason to go to this extent. We repaired all of us our relationship with you, and everything was fine. Not because something sounds wrong that it means that it's black or white. It's your life, your decision. Je peux comprendre que sur le coup tu réagisses avec force, mais sincèrement, après mûre réflexion, crois-tu qu'il faille en arriver là?

Jamay is surely not a bad person. The problem is that her and I have a problem to communicate: she doesn't understand what I say and blames me for stuff that doesn't exist. I didn't judge her, I didn't criticize her, I didn't say anything, and afterwards I hear that I put words in people's mouth, that I give lessons, that what I think is unneeded, etc. I'm tired to be criticized for no reason. I send a friendly message and I receive the opposite. That just shows we can't get along, we don't interprate things the same way.
In this forum I have been in way too many arguments, and now I'm just tired to argue ( and by argue I mean "dispute", not "debate") because I realized it's not fun at all, useless, often pityful, etc. So putting her on my ignore list was a way to prevent a new one from happening. The way she answered is unacceptable to me, because what she said had nothing to do in this conversation, so better not talk anymore instead of arguing and trash talking because of very huge misunderstandings.
Claiming I did this to force her to go public is another sad statement that shows she absolutely gets everything I do and say the wrongest way possible. She is not a bad person, far from it, but she thinks I am (or she seems so, which comes to the same) and I can't do anything against it.

Leaving the tourney because of this is sad, and she's missing a very great opportunity, though. S59, you're right, so I'll remove her from that ignore list so that we'll be able to talk if there is anything for the tournament.

The only way to resolve this is by putting me through to the next round. Everything will be better then.

How do I say this... I understand Mag!c but he's not the most charismatic of people, which can make others angry. I've had to defend him on multiple occasions.

RE: The Soon To Be Elite Tournament - Season 1 [STARTED!] - S592000 - 01-01-2014 08:07 AM

Mag!c, if I read the original message nothing wrong was said in terms of the way to say things. It's a little harsh, yes, but the content reflects her perception. There's nothing insulting. If I receive this kind of message and I think I don't deserve this message, well I will just say it to the person. That's all. You may not like it ok. Expressing that you don't like something is not arguing. It's being human.

Everything you are mentionning comes after saying she's violent and after putting her on the ignore list. She expresses the fact she didn't like something in one little sentence. It's not about being wrong or not, about being bad or good, it's about saying our own truth. On her last post she said that doors were open for peace etc. What I just read it's words and words again to continue arguing. Except the last part.

She never said that you did that to force her to come public by putting her on the ignore list. I'm reading and there's nothing. But yes you told her that she's violent and then you put her on the ignore list. So yes the only way to answer to you would be to go public. It's logic. So yes I would feel forced too. (Et tu connais de plus la raison de sa semi-pause Outwitters, d'en faire un plat public, ce n'était pas super).

On this forum, a lot of people told you worst thing than that (I just read them) and you reacted with energy if I can say (it's human), but never that far. I'm questionning myself why. You are the one saying you two don't get along. She's not saying that. And I don't think you both are arguing for months. What I can read on the forum, is two people getting along. Why this different reaction when it's her?

It's a first step to don't ignore her. I won't say bravo though. Some people told me don't mind, he's 16. Being 16 is not a good reason. You can get on my nerves like she's getting on yours and probably you are getting on her nerves. It doesn't mean we all feel that way permanently and that I don't like you. It's being human and learning to deal with that is living in a community, even a virtual one. Not stopping everything now would mean that maybe you won't like each other forever. I had problems with you in the past, you know it. You told me harsh things. You said sorry and I then tried to know you better. The "war" ended.

I'm realizing by writing all this, that I'm the one giving lessons. It doesn't matter. I think it was time to do it. Happy New Year!

I side with magic. To be honest, he doesn't have to talk to anyone he doesn't want to and if he wants to add her to his ignore list, that is his choice.

There are no sides. This is over. No more please. No more explanations, can we just move on?

RE: The Soon To Be Elite Tournament - Season 1 [STARTED!] - S592000 - 01-01-2014 08:35 AM

You're right Doodat. There are no sides. I can move on. JChris can surely move on. Can Mag!c move on?

RE: The Soon To Be Elite Tournament - Season 1 [STARTED!] - jchris98 - 01-01-2014 08:43 AM

I would just like to point out that it appears mag!c has moved on. Almost all of the debate has been between people other than him and Jamay really.
