I don't see any restrictions, so I would imagine that there is no team limit usage.
Maybe next season though Smile

What? Are you saying there are map restrictions? Because I was just talking about team usage restrictions. Just want to clarify what you are saying

I forget but don't you need all the races to have all the maps? I remember getting maps when I got the uber pack.

Oh yeah! I forgot about that! I guess everyone will just have to get the uber pack if they want to participate.

umm i don't have gen 2 maps and i will probably never get them
i think if gen 2 maps are required, many of the participants will be lost

so i suggest 4 divisions of 9, with original 8 maps.
i guess you'll probably need to have uber pack to participate

Oops forgot again that the maps don't get unlocked for friendly play unless you buy them

Thanks for just heaping the pressure on me.

It's not necessarily the case; within our own in-house tournament, I was the 2nd or 3rd highest ranking wise, but only made the top 6 on a bit of a fluke, and then was eliminated in the quarter finals.

So yeah your suggestion seems the best, 4 groups of 9.

As for uberpack, I think all the ones who signed up here have it (cuz I already met a great part of them in friendlies), but I will still send a PM to each participant to ensure it. I will sadly not be able to allow someone who doesn't have the uber pack to participate Sad

Oh and there aren't any race restriction, I would have told it in the rules if it was the case Smile

Husky Pete, since the format is gonna be 4 groups of 9, you will be P2 in 4-5 games, so what you can do is, if you get invited in all your P2 matches, which is not a big amount, you can hold off starting your P1 matches for a moment.

edit: I have just checked on challonge, and having a group of 9 players means having 9 rounds, and not 8. Thus I will add the map Foundry for Round 9, because it must be the map where I got the most of invites when I was coaching, since it gives a lot of difficulties to gifted/ a big part of master players. I will manage the brackets (it is now possible to drag the players' name in the bracket, what an awesome feature) so that each player gets to be P1 and P2 on this map.
