RE: The Elite Championship [STARTED!] - Alan Klaus - 10-15-2013 03:10 AM GG Poweewee! outwitters://viewgame?id=ahRzfm91dHdpdHRlcnNnYW1lLWhyZHIVCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YgICAgP7ulQsM I left my boosted runner within range of mobi strike on turn 5 because I figured that would be game over. Does anyone see a way to avoid defeat with the spawned mobi on turn 6? I tried simulating a couple games where the adorables move the runner to a safe spot so as to not be in a unit disadvantage... but it didn't matter. Covering the wit space on turn 7 always seemed to be enough to take it home there regardless since the mobi was dead weight at that point. Thoughts? RE: The Elite Championship [STARTED!] - [PETA] Cor13:4 - 10-15-2013 05:25 AM Brutal. But yeah, that's the possible weakness of Adorables. A mobi is great for larger maps, but for single-spawn small maps, spawning one can be bad, since it's a non-attacking unit that is so expensive, and the extra mobility isn't as useful. Good job pushing it and punishing him for spawning one. I think we've seen this in a few matches. It's interesting, but I think if we tallied up Adorable vs. Other matches in this tourney, we might actually see that the other teams won more than Adorables (except for Thorn Gulley and Reaper perhaps). For our discussion: Actually, I totalled it up, at least for AvX (where X is Feedback, Scallywags, or Veggienauts), this excludes Reaper and Thorn Gulley _____W__L AvS__1___6 AvF__1___6 AvV__1___1 That means AvX Adorables are 3-13. RE: The Elite Championship [STARTED!] - Pharmafan - 10-15-2013 06:09 AM Well played, Trumpet! Your analysis is completely right, IMO! RE: The Elite Championship [STARTED!] - poweewee - 10-16-2013 08:20 PM Yup you are right, I probably realized it wasn't a good move (spawning a mobi) but went for it anyway..LOL RE: The Elite Championship - Season 1 [STARTED!] - Pharmafan - 10-18-2013 07:26 PM [attachment=405] Sadly Trumpet.Alan timed out against me..... Mag!c, is it right, that I now have to give up in the game and post the replay? Sorry for asking.....first time for me... RE: The Elite Championship - Season 1 [STARTED!] - Mag!cGuy - 10-18-2013 11:27 PM Yes, rules are rules, 4 days is way too much. RE: The Elite Championship - Season 1 [STARTED!] - Pharmafan - 10-18-2013 11:45 PM Do I have to give up or has he to do it?
