Hi Guys,
Don't usually post here - but i wanted you guys to check out this EPIC battle i had with ScopeGeek... loads of mistakes made, but check it out. Most epic battle i've ever been in. Thanks..

It looked like a fun match where each of you held the edge at different points.. You'll have more to come.
You were fortunate that your opponent kept attacking your base instead of your units.

That's true - although if he had attacked my base more aggressively i really would have been in trouble. There was a point where i had no units left!

you would have been in even more trouble if covered your spawns. usually you shouldn't attack a base unless you either have an immediate plan to get it down to 0 or the attack is with relative safety of the unit not being easily killed (i.e. backdoor, on top of a spawn, or a 4hp+ unit with only one hex that he can be attacked from). your opponent kept losing his advantage when he attacked your base.

I believe it was a very exciting battle for you, but there has been many mistakes so I didn't have as fun as you watching it.

I will probably watch the replay a little later, but FYI there have been some games that have gone into the hundreds of moves. Granted, they are usually just a lot of turtling, so if "epic" means more than just "long" then they are not necessarily very epic games.

Nah it's only a 50 turns battle, but it was pretty exciting, all the opposite of a turtling match
I'd rather say active then long.
