Really good! But I thought poweewee could have ended the game at turn37 by sending in his runner to sit on spawn space.

Huh? He had no runner on the board at the beginning of the turn. And nothing in scrambling range.

On turn 37, if he attacked the sniper on the right side instead on the left (next to the spawn!), I think he could have won quickly. To kill the soldier, magic would have to move a scrambler out in jeopardy. Instead, he could scramble and move the scrambler in any direction.
