There's some timeout and then he starts to get matched with the first person available? it got the same problem before. it is painful when you have time to play, but cannot match up with anyone. it becomes time out after two days. I think Alex/Adam should slightly adjust the matching system. use rank rather than hidden rate. I guess there has huge different between poweewee's & other top players' hidden rate RE: Win/Loss ratio required for promotion - terenceshiu2005 - 06-14-2013 10:22 PM Still Master 32) outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YmeXiAww RE: Win/Loss ratio required for promotion - [PETA] Cor13:4 - 06-14-2013 11:27 PM Now I'm really afraid to start a new game. I could easily match with you =P I'm surprised that even if they use hidden ranking, it would just "randomly" match you after a timeout period. Why wouldn't it just increase the threshold for matching after a timeout period, until the point that it finds someone for you? But yeah, matching by hidden ranking threshold or rank works too. You could definitely do just rank or both. Discussed here It's wrong RE: Win/Loss ratio required for promotion - [PETA] Cor13:4 - 06-15-2013 04:13 AM So Poweewee just doesn't get to play real games anymore? That must be so boring. I'm surprised he hasn't started alt accounts so he can actually play people. (although eventually he would probably just play himself, lol) RE: Win/Loss ratio required for promotion - phineas94 - 06-15-2013 05:45 PM (06-13-2013 06:35 PM)terenceshiu2005 Wrote: Still master That's 10 out of 10 against STs in the last 11 games! Although with an exclamation. I think the Arranged 2v2 distribution is not quite what OML had hoped for RE: Win/Loss ratio required for promotion - Szei - 06-16-2013 08:35 AM Something seems to be wrong with 2v2 placements now. On two separate teams my ally and I got placed in Master 2v2 after going 2-0. Both teams didn't have to finish the last 3 placements and never got the message that we had been promoted despite it showing Master league in our profiles and not requiring any more placement games. I think the Arranged 2v2 distribution is not quite what OML had hoped for I meant to say that this is the order the games went in. I said the opposite because that is what I thought before I went through my OSN records. I realized afterwords that it was in the right order but forgot to change it. I think that arranged 2v2 does need some revamping. Although to be fair to OML, their are not many arranged 2v2 teams. |
