Spammers and poppycock - brayton - 01-10-2013 09:56 PM

Is it a coincedence that all the spammers here that ive encounted spam on poppycock.
They seems silly, they dont post only about one thing,

Please help me with an analysis of the behaviour of (human or not) spammers.
PS they cannot be human when they have 26 seconds of time spent on forums, yet have 5 full paragraph threads. Human spamming is not economical these days....

test*

hmm.. i think** they choose the subforum with the least amount of activity so their post will less likely get noticed thus having the advertisement last longer.

That makes sense. Do they spam everywhere on the net, are they paid. How much computing power
Your Renz now? Why, RIP TheQuirtist

RE: Spammers and poppycock - TheQwertiest - 01-10-2013 10:10 PM

Yeah they spam everywhere. im not really sure but i think they spam their links to get a better position on their search engine. In another forum i go to we get about 7-12 bots a day with over 150 posts and threads (depends on the activity of the admin on that day)

Renz is my real name. I was trying to teach a clan mate on how to change his name. i forgot to put it back to theqwertiest

RE: Spammers and poppycock - brayton - 01-10-2013 10:21 PM

Yeah, i assumed its your name. I paniced when i thought"we've lost a beloved member who spends way too much time here. Its a sad day when a name is no longer the same." didnt fit the picture right.

Whats that other forum. I love forums. Thats where all my time goes

Experimenting iwth typing letters at same time. Its so fun to do. I mix up lettres all the time
You'r back :O
Oh, <scream painting face with hands over ears in relief>

Had to copy paste from other forums, >< but i finally did it !O!

Quote and it may come up

sorry, it took me a while to finish the reply to your message.
the other forum.. i dont think its something youd be interested in. its a forum made by a scanlation group of korean comics (manhwa, manga etc.) they scan, clean, redraw and translate it to english.

I really dont think the views is accurate.
I havent viewed this more than 20 times.

It says 50.
Most spammings dont even make alot of sense. Cant be intelligent people in our language(english).
I mean this to say that they're not intelligent in english, but may be in"...."

Perhaps guests and other forum members viewed this thread.
I don't think they need it to make sense. They just type a few paragraphs to make you curious enough to try clicking the link.

Well, thats cool. Its still a lot of views for such a nothing thing. I can understand something that has 1000 replies to have 5000 views.
There are alot of people on these forums now. New ones popping up everywhere.
Seems scary to think that the pre-release forums have grown into......this, this monster.

I respect them having no addvertisments, but they could get some $$$$, but might be seen as greedy.
Im also wondering, the "flop" of Outwitters wouldnt have been bad enough to send OML into DEBT.
They did have TTL with millions of downloads.

Thanks. These spamers.
Sad really. They never got to two stars. Sob..sob..sob..

Honestly... I think everyone here would understand if they have an advertisement on the page.
