I can't view Alvendor's Neighbors map. I can open it up, but two bases and and some barriers are the only things that load. Also, I the changes I made to a map I made won't save. I hit the save button an it refreshes the page. No changes

My goal was to minimize the map while attempting to keep it strategical. The bottlenecks allow for advantages for all specials (in my calc), perhaps placing a major role for Snipers (a bit like Glitch).

Kudos for Harti for doing this!

I feel like this is a bombshell op map. Place bombshell infront of the ur opponents cut and you can hit the base! Also it's only accessibly from one side. A mobi will have trouble if a 4 hp dude is blocking the bombshell, unless you use another sniper to help kill the 4hp blocking the bombshell.

By the way how do you delete maps? When experimenting I accidentally clicked the fork button Tongue

Anyway heres my map, I named it Free for all Gold rush! The idea is that all players have 2 fronts that will be what they usually fight for but later in the game the centre becomes a critical point between the two strongest players. I decided to use the base blocks to make the map look extra special (They are full blocks by the way so they block your way) And I placed the spawn and wit spaces in very specific places as to so there are no abusable problems.

On another note (away from my previous thread) just looking at some of the maps a lot of looks really good. Here is one A cool mini game (I think the goal is to survive the longest as red)

This is great!!!

I know that some game developers are wary of using fan-generated content because of stupid legal things. So we could explicitly say that we do not assert any rights to maps we create, or something.

I tried to fork peekaboo, but I just changed it entirely to a different map. It doesn't really matter because it didn't save anyways (I can't update any made map). So Harti, you probably have to delete that.

Also, can you double click with an iPhone? I want to put descriptions on my maps. Tongue

Oh yes, I just remembered. Where did the "toggle blank spaces" option go? Especially with the exporting, I think it would be good to have it back, if it's not to hard to implement.

Also, I had another map on 1.0 called Throwback Throwback. Can you please retrieve that?

I could put it up the disclaimer. But then again, I don't think that anybody's going to be a b*tch about OML implementing (ideas of) their map.

I don't have issues with unfinished maps hanging around, as long as they're not annoying the users, that is.

Unfortunately you cannot. I am not planning to add a button, though, due to the lack of space. The application wasn't designed to be used solely with iDevices, though. Rather with a desktop or notebook. Big Grin

I didn't find a place for the button, so I omitted that option. I don't think it's annoying, though, except that you cannot easily put a background with Photoshop. But then again you could just knock the grid out with masks.

As noted in the opening post (it's okay when you didn't read it, I don't expect anybody to read a wall of text), due to major changes in the frontend application, technically a different object structure and painting algorithm, it is impossible to import maps from the former Editor.
It takes no more than ten minutes to create the same map though.
